Celtic linked with sensational swoop for Real Madrid's Martin Odegaard

Celtic are the latest club linked with a move for Real Madrid youngster Martin Odegaard.

Celtic have been linked with a surprise move for Real Madrid youngster Martin Odegaard.

The Norwegian is not expected to spend another season in the La Liga outfit's B-team, and the Hoops are the latest club to express interest in him.

"I don't know anything about the Celtic interest, but it is of course very flattering," Eurosport quotes Odegaard as saying.

"If the right offer comes along from an overseas club then I would consider it, but it all depends on which club is making the offer."

Spanish sides Real Betis and Villarreal have also been linked with Odegaard, who is expected to be sent out on loan next term.
