Sports Mole looks at how Real Madrid could line up in Sunday's La Liga clash with Barcelona.

Real Madrid will have Karim Benzema at the tip of their attack for Sunday's El Clasico despite concerns over the issue that the Frenchman suffered against Liverpool on Wednesday night.

Benzema was forced off shortly after scoring in the second leg of the last-16 Champions League contest, but he only suffered a knock, and the 35-year-old will feature from the start against Barcelona.

Ferland Mendy was also back on the bench against Liverpool, with the left-back recovering from the hamstring injury that has kept him on the sidelines since the end of January.

As a result, David Alaba is the team's only confirmed absentee for fitness reasons, with the Austria international not yet ready to feature due to a hamstring issue of his own.

However, Alvaro Rodriguez is also out for the visitors due to suspension.

Nacho is likely to continue at left-back for the reigning Spanish champions, who are nine points behind division leaders Barcelona heading into Sunday's encounter.

Federico Valverde will again feature in the front three alongside Benzema and Vinicius Junior, but head coach Carlo Ancelotti has some big decisions to make in midfield.

Aurelien Tchouameni was only a late substitute against Liverpool, but the Frenchman could be introduced into the XI for this match, with Toni Kroos potentially dropping down to the bench.

Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Courtois; Carvajal, Militao, Rudiger, Nacho; Tchouameni, Camavinga, Modric; Valverde, Benzema, Vinicius
