Luka Modric: 'We are having a fantastic season'

Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric is confident that Los Blancos will overcome their recent slump in form.

Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric has insisted that Los Blancos are still having "a fantastic season" despite their recent stumble.

The capital outfit have lost two of their last three games in the league having previously boasted a 31-match unbeaten run in all competitions.

However, the Croatian is confident that his side will return to form against Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

"Until those two recent matches we were having a fantastic season. We are still the same players and the same team," Modric told reporters at a press conference.

"We are very motivated for the upcoming matches, we have forgotten what has gone on before and we are concentrating on Dortmund.

"We haven't lost our confidence and I am convinced we will give our best tomorrow."

Dortmund knocked Madrid out in the semi-finals of the competition last season.
