Sports Mole looks at how Real Madrid could line up in Wednesday's Champions League clash with Union Berlin.

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti could make three changes to his side for Wednesday's Champions League group-stage fixture with Bundesliga outfit Union Berlin.

Los Blancos managed to recover one injured player for Sunday's La Liga game with Real Sociedad, as Dani Ceballos was back on the bench, having overcome a hamstring issue.

Ferland Mendy has been out this season with a muscular problem but is believed to have a strong chance of being back in the squad for the European fixture.

Real Madrid will again definitely be without the services of key trio Thibaut Courtois, Eder Militao and Vinicius Junior, although the latter is not too far away from a return.

Arda Guler will also soon be available to make his debut, but the summer arrival, who underwent knee surgery earlier this season, remains unavailable for the moment; Dani Carvajal is also missing due to a muscular issue, which should open the door for Lucas Vazquez to feature from the first whistle.

Eduardo Camavinga started Sunday's 2-1 win over Real Sociedad on the bench but is likely to be recalled on Wednesday evening, with Toni Kroos expected to drop out.

Luka Modric has also been confirmed as a starter here, so Federico Valverde could be given a rest.

Jude Bellingham has scored five times already this season, and the England international will get his first taste of Champions League football in a Real Madrid shirt in this match.

Joselu has benefitted from Vinicius's injury to recently start alongside Rodrygo in the final third, and the on-loan Espanyol forward has managed two goals in his last two appearances, so he should retain his spot for this Group C clash.

Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Kepa; Vazquez, Rudiger, Alaba, F Garcia; Modric, Tchouameni, Camavinga; Bellingham; Joselu, Rodrygo
