Luka Modric: Real Madrid "deserved" to reach Champions League final

Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric claims that his side "deserved" to beat Bayern Munich 4-0 in the Champions League semi-final.

Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric believes that his side were well worth their 4-0 victory over Bayern Munich in the Champions League semi-final on Tuesday.

Two goals each from Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos were enough for Los Blancos as they booked a place in their first European final since 2002.

The Croatian international told Sky Sports News: "We absolutely deserved to go to the final.

"We played some great football with some great counter attacks. We performed at the top level and deserve to be in the final."

Meanwhile, Chelsea play Atletico Madrid in the second semi-final this evening.
