Scottish League One roundup: Jon Daly treble inspires Rangers

Sports Mole rounds up the action from Scottish League One on a day that saw leaders Rangers make it 10 wins out of 10 games.

Jon Daly scored his second hat-trick of the season to help Rangers maintain their perfect record in Scottish League One on Saturday.

The Gers won 4-0 at East Fife, who managed to keep the league leaders at bay during the first half.

However, a Gary Thom own goal four minutes after the restart put Ally McCoist's men ahead, before Daly's quick-fire treble completed the scoring.

Elsewhere, Stephen Husband and Josh Falkingham were on target as Dunfermline Athletic came from behind to win at Stranraer.

Brechin recorded their first win in eight games by beating Arbroath at Glebe Park, while 10-man Ayr United piled more misery on bottom side Airdrieonians.

Stenhousemuir and Forfar Athletic are now fourth and eighth respectively after playing out a 1-1 draw at Ochilview Park.

Results in full: Airdrieonians 0-1 Ayr United, Brechin City 3-1 Arbroath, East Fife 0-4 Rangers, Stenhousemuir 1-1 Forfar Athletic, Stranraer 1-2 Dunfermline Athletic.
