Motherwell manager Stuart McCall reportedly decides to remain at Fir Park following talks with League One outfit Sheffield United.

Motherwell manager Stuart McCall has reportedly decided to remain in North Lanarkshire following talks with Sheffield United.

The 48-year-old, who has previously represented the Blades as both a player and a coach, held discussions with the League One outfit regarding the club's managerial vacancy earlier this week.

However, according to the Press Association, he has now opted to stay at Fir Park, where he took charge in 2010.

McCall recently signed a new two-year contract which ties him to Motherwell until June 2015.
