Juventus explore the possibility of signing Manchester United's Jesse Lingard on a free transfer, according to a report.

Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United's Jesse Lingard on a free transfer this summer.

The attacker has entered the final six months of his contract at Old Trafford and remains hopeful of leaving the Red Devils on loan before the winter transfer window closes for business.

Everton, Leicester City and Aston Villa are all allegedly keen on the England international following a breakdown in a potential short-term switch to Newcastle United.

However, according to the Manchester Evening News, Lingard is looking to move abroad on a free transfer when his contract with Man United expires at the end of June.

The report claims that Juventus have already been identified as suitors, with the Old Lady keen to bring the Englishman to Turin ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.

The 29-year-old has scored twice and registered one assist in 14 appearances for Man United this season, but he has only played 88 minutes of Premier League football in 2021-22.

Juventus have taken advantage of the free market to sign the likes of Paul Pogba, Kingsley Coman, Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey in recent years.
