Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson believes that his side's 5-0 win at Fulham was one of their best performances of the season.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has described his side's 5-0 win at Fulham as one of the team's best performances of the season.

Goals from Danny Welbeck, Nani, Ryan Giggs, Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov have kept the Red Devils two points behind league leaders Manchester City.

"I think it was one of our best performances of the season, especially the first half," Ferguson told Sky Sports News.

"The players were right on song and continued their great performance on Sunday against QPR."

The Scot was also pleased with Rooney and Berbatov's spectacular finishes in the final minutes.

"It was a great strike from Wayne and a great strike from Berbatov," he added.

The Red Devils next host Wigan Athletic in the league on Boxing Day.
