Team News: Vincent Kompany returns for Manchester City

Man City welcome skipper Vincent Kompany back into their starting lineup, while West Brom make three changes to the side that beat QPR two weeks ago.

Vincent Kompany has been recalled into the Manchester City side to face West Bromwich Albion this afternoon having recovered from injury.

Kompany is one of two changes made by Roberto Mancini, the second of which sees Samir Nasri return to the starting lineup in place of David Silva, who has been ruled out through injury.

West Brom have made three changes of their own as they welcome back Liam Ridgewell, Graeme Dorrans and Marc Antoine Fortune into the starting XI, meaning that there is no place for Romelo Lukaku.

West Brom: Foster; Olsson, Ridgewell, AcAuley, Tamas; Yacob, Morrison, Dorrans, Mulumbu; Long, Fortune

Man City: Hart; Richards, Kompany (C), Lescott, Clichy; Milner, Barry, Nasri, Y. Toure; Balotelli, Tevez
