Yaya Toure reveals back injury

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure says that he will be sidelined for a short while with a back problem.

Yaya Toure has revealed that he will be out of action for a "few days" with a back injury.

The Manchester City midfielder is believed to have suffered with the problem for a couple of weeks, which culminated in him being substituted during the 2-0 victory over Newcastle United on Sunday.

However, the 30-year-old has insisted that the injury will not keep him out of action for too long.

"Off the field for a few days because of a back injury. Hope to be back on my feet soon," he wrote on Twitter.

Toure has scored 10 goals in 20 Premier League appearances this season.
