Liverpool full-back Jose Enrique says that the Reds must take their chances and return to the top four of the Premier League because that it where they "need to be".

Liverpool full-back Jose Enrique has insisted that his side must take their chances and pick up the points in order to near the top four of the Premier League.

The Reds currently reside in 12th place in the league table and despite an impressive performance against Tottenham Hotspur last night, the Reds slumped to a 2-1 defeat at White Hart Lane.

"We just have to forget about the table when we are on the pitch and just focus on that game," Enrique told the club's official website.

"I hope the results will soon come. We say it every week but we have to take our chances. We need points to get to the top four which is where we need to be."

Liverpool will take on Reading at Anfield on Saturday.
