Leicester City's Wes Morgan determined to make title dream a reality

Leicester City captain Wes Morgan says that he is determined to make his "dream" of winning the Premier League title a reality.

Leicester City captain Wes Morgan has claimed that becoming a Premier League champion is all that he has "dreamed about".

The 32-year-old and his teammates are just three wins away from becoming surprise winners.

Claudio Ranieri's side have a seven-point lead over second-placed Tottenham Hotspur with six games left to play.

The team were battling relegation this time 12 months ago, and now Morgan is beginning to believe that the Foxes can get over the line and pull off a shock triumph.

"There's still work to be done, but it's a big, big possibility," Morgan told the Daily Mail. "I can't deny that. It's in our hands. We've got the chance to win the games to make it happen, to finish as champions.

"As a kid, it's all I dreamed about: playing in the best league in the world, becoming a champion and lifting that trophy. So I can see the end, definitely, and I want to make the dream a reality.

"To be in this position is unbelievable. It's everything I've dreamed about. To be at a club like Leicester and saying, 'We could be champions', is incredible. We're not there yet, but we're very close."

Leicester have only lost three of their 33 league games this season.
