Neil Lennon: 'Celtic reunion will be emotional'

Hibernian head coach Neil Lennon is sure that next Saturday's Scottish Premiership game away at former club Celtic will be an "emotional" experience.

Hibernian head coach Neil Lennon has admitted that next Saturday's Scottish Premiership game away at Celtic will be an "emotional" experience.

The 46-year-old won 11 trophies in seven years as a player at Parkhead, then five more during a four-year spell as manager.

On September 30, Lennon will take his new team to Celtic Park and find himself in the opposing dugout as he aims to inflict a first domestic defeat on Brendan Rodgers.

"Celtic were a huge part of my life and most of the country know that," Lennon told BBC Sport.

"The club meant a lot to me, but this is a different chapter in my career now and it is one I am enjoying very much.

"We have also got a semi-final at Hampden against them to look forward to next month, so it will be emotional in many aspects, but I have to be professional as well."

Lennon, who has also managed in England with Bolton Wanderers, signed a three-year extension to his Hibs contract in September.
