Hein Vanhaezebrouck has insisted that his Gent players "are full of confidence" ahead of their crucial final Champions League group encounter against Zenit St Petersburg on Wednesday night.
The Buffaloes know that victory over their Russian counterparts at the Ghelamco Arena will secure their place in the knockout stages of the competition, becoming the first club from Belgium to achieve that feat in the process.
However, were they to drop points against Andre Villas-Boas's side, that would leave the door ajar for Gary Neville's Valencia, who play host to eliminated Lyon in the group's other encounter.
"We are full of confidence and will do everything we can to grab the three points and qualification for the round of 16," Vanhaezebrouck told reporters.
"We always try to take it a step higher - you have never reached your limit - but I would be satisfied if my players bring what they have brought to the previous Champions League matches.
"I would have loved to have been able to play in these kind of matches every week. This is what you do it for."
Gent's opponents Zenit have won all five of their group matches so far, which has left them eight points clear at the top of Group H.
