Brighton & Hove Albion chairman targets new striker

Brighton & Hove Albion chairman Tony Bloom promises the club's supporters that they will sign a new striker during the international break.

Brighton & Hove Albion chairman Tony Bloom has revealed that the club will spend the international break trying to sign a new striker.

Leonardo Ulloa has joined Craig Mackail-Smith and Will Hoskins on the sidelines, and Bloom has acknowledged that the club need to strengthen that area of the pitch.

Bloom told BBC Sussex: "Leo being injured is a massive blow to him and the club. The good news is that we have two weeks before the next game and we are sure to get in at least one forward.

"Our job is to get the best possible one which is available, fit and ready to go for Yeovil."

Brighton are currently in 15th position in the Championship table.
