Mario Mandzukic inspired Atletico Madrid to a comfortable victory at the Vicente Calderon as the Spanish champions beat Olympiacos 4-1 to book their place in the last 16 of the Champions League.
Raul Garcia broke the deadlock in just the ninth minute following a mistake from Olympiacos goalkeeper Roberto, before Mandzukic benefited from Atletico's dominance by scoring his first hat-trick for the club.

Goal
Miguel Moya: The goalkeeper may have expected to be slightly busier on a night when he was just another spectator as Atletico dominated. (6/10)
Defence
Juanfran: Superb performance from the full-back. Only Mandzukic's hat-trick prevented him from picking up the man of the match award. Took full advantage of the visiting side's defensive frailties with regular ventures forward from defence. (8/10)
Diego Godin: Another commanding display from the Uruguayan. Olympiacos applied very little pressure, but the Atletico defence was never in danger thanks to Godin. (7/10)
Jose Gimenez: Kept his place in the side due to Miranda's injury, and he never put a foot wrong alongside his more experienced teammates. (7/10)
Christian Ansaldi: Much like Juanfran, the full-back was allowed to do most of his best work in attacking areas. He was a constant threat to the Olympiacos defence with his direct running and accurate crosses. (8/10)
Midfield
Tiago: As always, the Portuguese midfielder was comfortable in possession as he launched attacks from a deeper position. Removed at the interval, presumably due to an injury. (6/10)
Gabi: The Atletico captain dictated the tempo of the game with his excellent range of passing. Involved in the attacks which led to the first two goals, before delivering the cross for Mandzukic's third. (7/10)
Koke: Controlled the midfield with his teammates, and got forward on a regular basis to provide support for Mandzukic. Another faultless display from the 22-year-old. (7/10)
Raul Garcia: Given the freedom by Diego Simeone to drift around to find space. Linked the midfield and attack well, but probably should have scored with a header in the second half. (7/10)
Arda Turan: The Turkish international is loved at the Vicente Calderon and he fully deserved the standing ovation he received when he was taken off in the second half. A brilliant cross for Mandzukic's second goal was the icing on the cake after he gave Olympiacos nightmares on the right with his clever footwork and incisive passing. (8/10)
Attack
Mario Mandzukic: The Croatian may never hit the heights Diego Costa did in the Spanish capital, but he is filling the void left by the striker with his ability to be in the right place at the right time. Used his strength impressively throughout the night, chased down lost causes, and capped a fine display with three well-taken goals. (9/10)
Substitutes
Mario Suarez: Sent on as a replacement for Tiago at the start of the second half, but the change was barely noticeable as the midfielder joined his teammates in controlling the game from deep. (7/10)
Raul Jimenez: Given over 20 minutes to impress, but he was too wasteful in the final third of the pitch, despite being eager to chase balls sent into the channels. (6/10)
Antoine Griezmann: The Frenchman saw a goal wrongly ruled out on a night when he displayed Atletico's strength in depth with an impressive cameo. (7/10)

Roberto: It was his poor clearance to Juanfran which set up Atletico's first goal. Unable to prevent the hosts from running riot on a disappointing night. (4/10)

Giannis Maniatis: Saved from coming out in the second half after making numerous mistakes in the opening 45 minutes. Too often caught out of position. (3/10)
Alberto Botia: Improved in the second half, but his poor clearance to allow Mandzukic to score Atletico's second was the first nail in the Olympiacos coffin. (5/10)
Eric Abidal: One of the few Olympiacos defenders who managed to offer some resistance, but his experience wasn't enough to hold off the hosts. Should have been trusted to mark Mandzukic instead of Botia. (6/10)
Arthur Masuaku: The poorest of a below-par defence. Never looked certain who he was marking as Turna and Juanfran regularly stormed past him with apparent ease. (3/10)
Midfield
Omar Elabdellaoui: A willing runner on the right for the visitors, but he didn't see as much of the ball as he would have liked. Moved back to right-back when Maniatis was removed at the break. (6/10)
Delvin N'Dinga: An energetic presence in midfield, but he was too wasteful in possession as the likes of Gabi and Koke enjoyed an easy night at the office. (5/10)
Luka Milivojevic: Rarely involved for the visitors going forward, and was unable to prevent the influential Koke from picking up the ball in the final third of the pitch. (4/10)
Alejandro Dominguez: Disappointing night for the experienced Argentine. Unable to get on the ball in attacking areas, and he showed a lack of desire to help out the defence. (4/10)
Ibrahim Afellay: The Dutchman barely had a kick in the first half as the game passed him by in midfield. Refused to drop deeper to get involved, and paid the price as Michel took him off at the break. (2/10)
Attack
Kostas Mitroglou: Given very little service by his teammates, and sent his one chance over the crossbar in the second half. The striker was a victim of Atletico's dominance. (5/10)

David Fuster: The midfielder was eager to disrupt the Atletico midfield's passing rhythm in the second half, but his combative approach did not pay off. (6/10)
Pajtim Kasami: Michel will not be happy with the Swiss midfielder's second-half performance. Sent on at the break, but he frustrated his teammates with his lack of energy and poor crossing. (4/10)
