Atalanta boss Edy Reja refusing to underestimate struggling Juventus

Atalanta head coach Edy Reja says that his side will not judge Juventus by their current Serie A position when they face the Italian champions tomorrow.

Atalanta head coach Edy Reja has said that his side will not judge Juventus by their current Serie A position when they face the Italian champions tomorrow.

Juve are currently 14th in the league this term after being crowned champions in each of the last four seasons, but Reja says that Atalanta, who sit in 8th, will not let that fool his players.

"We know that Juventus' current position is not a true representation of the side," he told reporters. "They have the means and quality to return to the top of the table, naturally for us we hope that it doesn't start from our game.

"We are going through a good spell and we are going to Turin to continue this run. We will have to maintain focused and play with real intensity for the full 90 minutes.

"We must never let out guard down because Juventus have players who can punish you at any time, however we will not change our approach and the mentality we have shown so far has enabled us to pick up some great results."

Juventus have not lost to Atalanta in over 11 years, and have won their last seven games against La Dea.
