Aston Villa winger Marc Albrighton has emerged as an injury doubt ahead of Tuesday's Capital One Cup semi-final first leg against Bradford City.
The 23-year-old was forced off with a recurrence of a foot problem during Villa's 2-1 win over Ipswich Town in the FA Cup on Saturday.
"Marc got a kick on his metatarsal, the same injury he had at the beginning of the season," Lambert told reporters.
"I don't know if it is fractured or anything like that but it is roughly about the same area. We have to see how he is."
Villa make the trip to Valley Parade for the first leg of their last-four encounter.
