Juventus have reportedly decided to end their pursuit of Arsenal striker Robin van Persie.
The Dutch international has been the subject of transfer speculation in recent months after casting doubt over his position with the Gunners.
It is understood that the 28-year-old is in talks with the North London outfit today, with manager Arsene Wenger desperate to keep hold of the prolific frontman.
Juventus, who have been linked with a summer bid for Van Persie, have calmed their interest due to their unwillingness to accept the forward's wage demands, according to Goal.com.
It is believed that Arsenal will force Van Persie to stay at the club even if contract negotiations break down.
