Norwich City are reportedly prepared to let Emiliano Buendia leave the club amid persistent links with a switch to Arsenal.
The Argentinian attacker is set for another stint in the Premier League with Norwich during the 2021-22 campaign, as his 15 league goals and 17 assists propelled the Canaries to the Championship title.
However, Arsenal are reportedly prepared to test Norwich's resolve this summer, with the Gunners eyeing a move for a new playmaker ahead of Martin Odegaard's expected return to Real Madrid.
According to The Athletic, Norwich have accepted that the time is right for Buendia to advance his career elsewhere, but they are not prepared to sanction an exit on the cheap.
The report adds that Daniel Farke does not want to see the 24-year-old leave for less than £40m, and Arsenal will have to fend off interest from Aston Villa and an unnamed European club to secure his signature.
Buendia claimed one goal and seven assists in 36 Premier League appearances during the 2019-20 season, and his Norwich deal does not expire until 2024.
