Arsenal's Nacho Monreal: 'We can't afford to lose to Dinamo Zagreb'

Arsenal full-back Nacho Monreal says that the team cannot afford to lose to Dinamo Zagreb when they open their Champions League campaign on Wednesday.

Arsenal full-back Nacho Monreal has claimed that he and his teammates cannot afford to drop points against Dinamo Zagreb in their opening Champions League game on Wednesday.

The Gunners will travel to Croatia to kick off Group F, which also contains Olympiacos and five-time champions Bayern Munich.

"We want to pass through into the next stage and we know that the favourite is probably Bayern Munich so we can't lose against Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiacos as well," the London Evening Standard quotes Monreal as saying.

"It would be really positive for us to start with three points as we will have more confidence in ourselves and it is the best way to start. You don't play too many games so if you make a mistake you pay for it."

In the Premier League, Arsenal are unbeaten in their last four games.
