Janko Tipsarevic has overcome the challenge of David Nalbandian to book his place in round three of the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami, Florida.
Despite losing a break of serve in the first set, the world number nine found two breaks against his Argentine opponent as he claimed the set 7-5.
The Serbian got off to a bad start in the second as the hard-hitting Nalbandian broke Tipsarevic's first service game on his way to a 3-1 lead.
However, Tipsarevic struck with a pair of successive breaks as he won the set 6-3 to reach the next round.
