Andy Murray will return to his hometown of Dunblane this weekend following his triumph at the US Open.
The Scot defeated Novak Djokovic in New York on Monday to become Britain's first male Grand Slam winner in 76 years.
The 25-year-old is due to take a walk around the Perthshire town on Sunday.
"I can't wait to get back to Dunblane to where it all began and share my US Open victory with everyone and thank them for all the support," he said.
"It's definitely going to be emotional, but it's a very special place for me."
Central Scotland Police have warned that they are expecting traffic disruptions during Murray's visit.
