Venus Williams has admitted that she is relishing the challenge of facing Agnieszka Radwanska in the fourth round of the Australian Open.
The 34-year-old reached the last 16 of a Grand Slam for the first time since Wimbledon in 2011 by defeating Camila Giorgi in a comeback victory.
Williams has revealed that she is looking forward to the challenge of facing the number six seed, although she feels slightly disappointed not be facing fellow American Varvara Lepchenko in the next stage of the competition.
She told reporters: "It feels fantastic especially when things happen in your life that you can't control. So it's awesome to be here and I don't want to leave it at that so I'm going to try to keep on going [in the tournament].
"She's really played well against me in the last matches, but I was hoping to have an all-American round of 16 with Varvara. We've played some great FedCup matches, but it didn't work out, so I've just go to try to keep going."
Williams has never won the Australian Open, but did reach the final of the competition in 2003.
