World number three Andy Murray believes that his serve will be key in defeating David Ferrer this afternoon.
The Scot faces Ferrer in his opening at the ATP World Tour Finals with a winning record of 5-0 over the Spaniard on hard courts.
Despite expecting a "tough match", Murray has claimed that landing his first serve could be the difference.
"I'm looking forward to it," Murray told Sky Sports News. "It is always a tough match against him.
"I need to serve well because that has given me an advantage on hard courts."
Murray has never won the season finale tournament.
