Leigh Halfpenny has said that he should be fit for the start of the Six Nations.
The fullback sustained a neck injury during Wales's loss to Australia last Saturday.
The 23-year-old told Sport Wales: "We've had a few opinions now from the specialists and it seems to be about six weeks will be the time where the nerve will have settled down and it'll be safe to go back to play.
"Basically it's when my symptoms subside and I'm not in any pain or when I'm doing contact I'm not getting any pins and needles down my arms."
Halfpenny sustained the injury while trying to prevent Australia's last-minute try, which handed the Wallabies victory.
Wales begin their Six Nations campaign at the Millennium Stadium on February 2.
