Ulster and Ireland wing Tommy Bowe has been ruled out for the remainder of the season following surgery on a knee injury.
Bowe suffered a posterior cruciate ligament injury and meniscal damage during his country's 43-20 loss to Argentina in the Rugby World Cup quarter-finals.
He will miss the Six Nations, which starts in February 2016, and Ulster's European Champions Cup campaign.
The 31-year-old is the third Ulster player to undergo an operation in recent weeks, following in the footsteps of Iain Henderson and Jared Payne.
