Northampton Saints flanker Calum Clark could be forced to miss England's upcoming tour of Uruguay and Argentina with an ankle injury.
The 23-year-old has been ruled out of Saturday's Aviva Premiership final between the Saints and Leicester Tigers with the problem.
England medical staff will assess him in the next few days to determine the severity of the injury.
The summer tour gets underway on June 1 against a South American XV in Montevideo.
