Four Championship players suspended

Danny Williams, Tommy Goulden, Adam Higson and Harry Siejka are all issued with bans of varying lengths for playing their part in last week's mass brawl.

Four players have been handed suspensions following last week's feisty opening Kingstone Press Championship match between Leigh Centurions and Bradford Bulls.

Danny Williams was found guilty of a Grade B repeated punching charge which means that he will miss his side's next game, having had his original, heftier punishment downgraded.

Tommy Goulden will sit out two games, meanwhile, as will Adam Higson and Harry Siejka.

Williams and Goulden, both of whom pleaded not guilty, were also issued with £50 fines for their part in the brawl.
