Wakefield Wildcats 38-18 Leeds Rhinos

Wakefield Wildcats outscore local rivals Leeds Rhinos by seven tries to four at Belle Vue.

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have produced a Super League shock by comfortably defeating local rivals Leeds Rhinos at Belle Vue.

Tries from Andy Raleigh, Paul Sykes and captain Danny Kirmond put Wakefield in control at the break.

Ryan Hall scored a second-half hat-trick, but it was in vein as Danny Washbrook, Kyle Wood, Dean Collis and Peter Fox all crossed the line for the hosts.

Kallum Watkins also touched down for Leeds, who only converted one of their four tries.

Meanwhile, Wakefield's Sykes added the extras following five of his side's seven tries.
