Leeds Rhinos coach Brian McDermott has revealed that he is pleased with his side's momentum following a 21-6 victory over Hull FC.

Carl Ablett, Brett Delaney and Ryan Hall were all on the scoresheet at a rain-drenched Headingley Carnegie Stadium as the defending champions notched up a fourth consecutive win.

"We're building some momentum now," McDermott told Sky Sports News. "In the last four games we've got better in each game.

"We're getting there, if that second half is anything to go by. I thought we played incredibly well in the first half, when we handled the conditions really well.

"Tonight wasn't perfect but we came up with the important plays when it mattered."

The win has lifted the Rhinos up to fifth in the Super League table.
