Challenge Cup holders Leeds Rhinos have secured a place in the final after claiming a comfortable 24-14 win over Super League champions St Helens.
The home side made a bright start as Zak Hardaker and Joel Moon both scored tries inside the opening 30 minutes, creating a 12-point advantage for Leeds.
St Helens got off the mark before half time though, as Alex Warmsley set up Mark Percival for their first try of the evening.
The Saints closed the gap further early in the second half as Percival added a second and Andre Savelio gathered the ball from a kick to go over in the corner.
Kallum Watkins halted the St Helens fightback, adding the Rhinos' fourth try of the night after collecting the ball from a Kevin Sinfield pass out wide with just over 10 minutes to go. It was enough to put the win beyond doubt for Leeds, who are through to their fifth Challenge Cup final in six seasons.
