Kenny Jackett: 'We've had no bids for Wayne Hennessey'

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett insists that the club have received no offers for goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett has insisted that he is unsure whether goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey will leave the club during the January transfer window.

Hennessey has been linked with Crystal Palace and West Ham United since the start of the year, but Jackett has revealed that the League One outfit have not had any interest in the Wales international.

The 52-year-old told the Express & Star: "There hasn't been any interest in Wayne, but that may change over the next three weeks.

"With goalkeepers, interest from clubs can tail off - you get spells when no one needs another one, then maybe through an injury it comes back.

"It's different higher up the leagues because teams have two, sometimes three senior keepers. In the Championship now, all the keepers are recognised names."

Hennessey hasn't played for Wolves since suffering a serious knee injury in April 2012.
