Sylvan Ebanks-Blake nears Crystal Palace move?

A report claims that Crystal Palace see a bid for Sylvan Ebanks-Blake accepted by Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Crystal Palace are reportedly close to securing the services of Sylvan Ebanks-Blake from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The two clubs are believed to have agreed a £1m fee for the 26-year-old, whose current contract with Wolves is due to expire at the end of the current campaign.

However, Wolves will not part with the former Manchester United trainee until they have signed his replacement, according to the Express & Star.

One player believed to be in the running to fill the potential void left by Ebanks-Blake is Sunderland centre-forward Connor Wickham, who is said to be available on a loan basis.

Palace manager Ian Holloway has worked with Ebanks-Blake before, having sold him to Wolves during his time in charge of Plymouth Argyle back in 2008.
