Wigan Athletic midfielder Jordi Gomez believes that the club can successfully juggle an FA Cup run with a Premier League relegation battle.
Gomez scored the only goal as the Latics beat Macclesfield Town on Saturday to reach the FA Cup fifth round, but Roberto Martinez's side are currently 19th in the league.
The Spanish midfielder is confident that the club can handle the demands of the two competitions.
"Of course the league is the priority," Gomez told the Daily Star. "We are playing with more young players in the cup, but we are still doing a great job.
"We have the energy for a cup run, yes. We have a lot of players and everyone who is playing is giving their best. We know there are cup games and league games and we know how to deal with it.
"It is always nice to get a good run in the cup and we will try to do that this season and then in the league, do the same."
Wigan face Stoke City in the league tonight.
