Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez believes that the Latics supporters have no reason to jeer Hugo Rodallega when he returns to the DW Stadium with Fulham this weekend.

Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez believes that the Latics supporters will respect former forward Hugo Rodallega.

The 27-year-old returns to the DW Stadium for the first time since leaving the club for Fulham in the summer transfer window.

"We know Hugo really well," said Martinez. "It's one of those situations where I'm sure when Hugo retires everyone will have incredible memories of his past at Wigan Athletic and I'm sure he'll have a really soft spot for his time at Wigan."

Rodallega spent three years with the Latics.
