The Football Association have rescinded the red card handed to Wigan Athletic midfielder Jordi Gomez in Saturday's defeat to Sunderland.
The 27-year-old was given his marching orders following a challenge on Black Cats midfielder Danny Rose, but the FA have moved to dismiss the ban.
"It does not bring back the time lost when Jordi had to leave the field but I am delighted that we can draw a line under this incident and that Jordi is available for us Saturday," Latics boss Roberto Martinez told reporters.
Gomez joined Wigan from Espanyol in 2009.
