West Ham United goalkeeper Joe Hart insists that Liverpool can be beaten on Saturday in the crunch Premier League clash between the sides at the London Stadium.

West Ham United goalkeeper Joe Hart has insisted that Liverpool can be beaten on Saturday in the crunch Premier League clash between the sides at the London Stadium.

West Ham are in need of a win to ease the pressure on manager Slaven Bilic, who saw his side drop points in the 97th minute last weekend against Crystal Palace after leading 2-1.

The club have won just one of their last five Premier League games, but England international Hart believes his side can improve that record.

"Liverpool at home is a big game and very exciting," Hart said in the pre-match programme. "They bring a lot with them, they have great support, great players and an exciting manager in Jurgen Klopp.

"They have shown what they are capable of on their day, and that's what we've got to prepare for. It's going to be a hard game.

"They are tough opposition, as my record against them proves, but they are definitely beatable. It will take us playing at a really high level and with high concentration to give ourselves a chance of beating them."

Hart was selected by England manager Gareth Southgate in the squad to face Germany and Brazil in friendlies later in November.
