Wales manager Chris Coleman has insisted that Gareth Bale is tough enough to handle any aggressive treatment on the pitch following Saturday's friendly against Finland.
The Real Madrid winger was targeted by the opposition throughout the 1-1 draw at the Cardiff City Stadium.
"He is going to get kicked, pushed and bullied but he has the character to deal with it," the Wales boss told BBC Sport.
"Gareth knows before he walks onto the pitch that in that 90 minutes there will be someone who wants to leave something on him.
"But he has got to take that as a compliment as well and I am sure he does, although it may be a painful compliment."
Andy King's goal looked to have given Wales the win in Cardiff before Riku Riski netted a late equaliser for the visitors.
