Catania 0-2 Udinese

Udinese qualify for the Champions League after securing third place in Serie A by virtue of a 2-0 win at Catania.

Udinese have clinched third spot in Serie A with a 2-0 win away at mid-table Catania.

Antonio Di Natale missed a glorious opportunity to breach the deadlock in the opening minutes, but was unable to convert from inside the area.

However, the 34-year-old made up for his miss in the 19th minute by squeezing a shot past Juan Pablo Carrizo from a tight angle.

Alejandro Lopez had the opportunity to level from the spot in the 38th minute after Roberto Pereyra fouled Andrea Catellani. However, Samir Handonovic saved from Gomez's poor penalty.

Diego Fabbrini doubled Udinese's advantage after half time with a right-footed shot from inside the area that found the bottom left corner.

Defeat for Catania means that they finish in 11th place.
