Leyton Orient have crept out of the League One relegation zone after taking a 1-0 half-time lead away at Swindon Town in their game at the County Ground.
The visitors were quickest out of the starting blocks and had a penalty appeal turned down just three minutes in when Robbie Simpson was brought down in the Swindon box.
Both sides continued to plug away, but Orient were given a great chance to take the lead when Lloyd James beat the offside trap and was brought down by Tyrell Belford in the area.
The referee pointed to the spot and showed the Robins goalkeeper a red card, but James's penalty was saved by substitute stopper Cameron Belford.
Orient, taking on a much-changed Swindon side, continued to push forward and were rewarded when Dean Cox dispossessed Raphael Rossi-Branco and fired past the replacement keeper.
