Franck Tabanou 'not leaving Saint-Etienne'

Reported Swansea City target Franck Tabanou will not be leaving Saint-Etienne this month, according to club president Bernard Caiazzo.

Saint-Etienne president Bernard Caiazzo has insisted that reported Swansea City target Franck Tabanou will not be allowed to leave before next Monday's deadline.

The midfielder's agent yesterday claimed that the two clubs had opened up dialogue regarding the 25-year-old's availability.

However, Caiazzo has told the Swans that the former France Under-21 international will remain at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard.

"Tabanou will not leave this winter. Even if we receive a good offer, he will stay at the club for sure," he told Eurosport.

Tabanou joined his current employers from Toulouse back in the summer of 2013.
