Former Wales international Robbie Savage believes that Swansea City's Neil Taylor is "one of the best" left-backs in the Premier League.
Throughout this month the Swans have been linked with a move for Martin Olsson, who plays in the same position as Taylor.
However, Savage is confused by the supposed pursuit of the Norwich City defender, having insisted that the Swede is not better than his fellow countryman.
"I have read reports that Swansea City are chasing the likes of Martin Olsson and I find that a surprise," Savage said on a BBC Sport radio phone-in.
"They have Neil Taylor there, who I rate as one of the best in the Premier League and is a regular for Wales."
In recent weeks Taylor is said to have been a target of new Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew.
