Swansea City confirm signing of Jack Cork from Southampton

Swansea City confirm the signing of Jack Cork from Southampton for an undisclosed fee.

Swansea City have confirmed the signing of Jack Cork from Southampton for an undisclosed fee.

Manager Garry Monk revealed earlier today that the 25-year-old was close to sealing his switch to the Liberty Stadium after rejecting a new deal at St Mary's.

Cork, who joined Southampton from Chelsea back in 2011 and has 13 England Under-21 caps to his name, has put pen to paper on a three-and-a-half-year deal.

The midfielder is ineligible to face his former club this Sunday as the deal was completed after today's noon deadline.
