Report: Southampton to sign Feyenoord midfielder Tonny Vilhena

Southampton are looking to replace midfielder Jack Cork with Feyenoord youngster Tonny Vilhena, according to reports.

Southampton are looking to make a bid for Feyenoord midfielder Tonny Vilhena, according to reports.

Saints manager Ronald Koeman is said to be concerned about the future of Jack Cork, whose contract expires at the end of the season and is yet to agree a new deal at St Mary's.

According to The Mirror, the South Coast club could sell Cork in the current transfer window to avoid losing him on a free transfer, and sign 20-year-old Vilhena as a replacement.

The Netherlands Under-21 international has reportedly been struggling under current Feyenoord boss Fred Rutten.
