Team News: Jack Cork, Modou Barrow handed first league starts for Swansea City

Jack Cork and Modou Barrow make their first league starts for Swansea City at home to Southampton.

Swansea City manager Garry Monk has handed full league debuts to both Jack Cork and Modou Barrow for this afternoon's game at home to Sunderland.

The only other change made by Monk is the inclusion of Ki Sung-yeung, who has come straight back into the starting XI following his exploits for South Korea in the Asian Cup.

Meanwhile, Gus Poyet has made two changes for the trip to South Wales.

Connor Wickham - who scored in the 2-0 win at home to Burnley last weekend - and Adam Johnson have been replaced by Ricky Alvarez and Danny Graham.

Swansea: Fabianski; Naughton, Fernandez, Williams, Taylor; Ki, Cork, Dyer, Shelvey, Barrow; Gomis
Subs: Tremmel, Rangel, Amat, Fulton, Carroll, Montero, Oliveira

Sunderland: Pantilimon; Reveillere, O'Shea, Vergini, Van Aanholt; Bridcutt, Larsson, Gomez; Alvarez, Graham, Defoe
Subs: Brown, Fletcher, Johnson, Coates, Giaccherini, Mannone, Agnew
