Brendan Rodgers believes that his Swansea City side fully deserved the three points they collected against Wigan Athletic this afternoon.
Gylfi Sigurdsson scored twice without reply for the Swans, who had Nathan Dyer sent off after the break for a challenge on Jordi Gomez.
"I felt that the overall performance was outstanding," Rodgers told Sky Sports News. "It was always going to be a difficult game coming here, even though Wigan haven't won here for quite a while. They've had some terrific performances here and there's always that bit of added pressure.
"Overall I thought we were much the better side and thoroughly deserved the three points."
The victory has lifted Swansea up to 14th in the Premier League table.
