Michael Laudrup believes that Swansea City's win over Arsenal caps a "fantastic week".

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has hailed the past week as "fantastic" after his side picked up seven points from a possible nine.

Swansea beat Arsenal 2-0 at the Emirates on Saturday to add to the four points gained at Anfield and at home to West Bromwich Albion.

"I knew we would play well against the big teams, it is easy to motivate yourselves for those games," BBC Sport quotes Laudrup as saying.

"Seven points from three matches - away to Liverpool, against the season's surprise so far in West Brom and now away to Arsenal - is a fantastic week for us."

Swansea have moved up to sixth in the Premier League.
