Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup insists that he is planning to stay at the Liberty Stadium until at least the end of current deal.

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has revealed that he has no plans to leave the Liberty Stadium before his contract expires next summer.

Laudrup has 15 months left on his deal in Wales and Swans chairman Huw Jenkins is believed to be preparing a long-term contract offer to keep the Danish coach at the club.

Despite no talks over his future taking place at this stage, Laudrup has insisted that he has big plans at Swansea and believes that his team can get even better next season if they stay together.

He told reporters: "My intention is to stay. I am enjoying being with the team. I think maybe next year we can be even better.

"The Premier League attracted me and the style Swansea have been playing in the last few years, it's a philosophy at the club."

Swansea moved into seventh place in the Premier League yesterday with a comfortable 4-1 home win over Queens Park Rangers.
